Investors Show Interest!

We have engaged the interest of numerous investors over the past months that we have been promoting this Positive Energy Lifestyle alternative homes/vehicles technology. We are very close to getting the total funding required for our Technology Demonstrator Display house/model home/sales office in the new Superstition Mountain Estates subdivision in Apache Junction, AZ MLS2905005. As you can see from the below photo, all the infrastructure (streets, curbs, hydrants, signs, cable boxes, etc.)is complete, and ready for the first display house to be built. We're anxious for the flags and lights !

Current status of the Scottsdale Project:

Here are some photos of our deconstruction process at the Scottsdale Project: (Click on the photo to view a larger, full width image, click on your "back" button or arrow to return).

We deconstructed many of the interior features of the home, such as the appliances, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, fans, lights, etc. and we donated them to Habitat for Humanity, the Stardust Building Materials resale store, and Goodwill. We also hosted an advertised "Scavenger Hunt" for the public on the weekend before the deconstruction was begun.

Here the bobcat is being unloaded, it is just one of the large pieces of equipment used in the deonstruction work.

The large equipment is used to tear open a section of wall or raise the roof, so we can access the building components...the building was comprised of CMU (cinder block) and wood frame construction.

What a difference a few days makes. You can see the progress...and if you click to enlarge the photo you can see piles of segregated components...but, frankly, it wasn't as organized and effective as we wish it could have been. Used building components do not have much value, however, our motivation was to salvage much of the materials anyway, in consideration of the pollution generated and "embodied energy" to process them originally. We probably saved many thousands of tons of CO2 and coal burning, just for the materials we did manage to save.

This is a pile of 2 x 6's from the roof deconstruction. We salvaged many different types of materials. For example we salvaged cinder blocks and walkways and sent them to a local recycler for grinding and reuse as the aggregate in new concrete at local construction projects. Some concrete with rebar that the recycler will not accept is being used on another project to raise the ground level for their home construction. Even that is better than going to a land fill dump.

This is a schematic of the components of our Zero Energy Geothermal and Solar Energies Management System and a few of the other environmentally harmonizing systems and technologies we are incorporating into our advanced Zero Energy Lifestyle homes.

This is an advanced water conserving system that will be incorporated into our Zero Energy Lifestyle homes to help reduce the environmental impact and to help lower monthly costs to the family.

Investment Opportunity Added May 4th, 2009

We have an opportunity for a Green investor to get involved in three NEW BRIGHT GREEN projects:
1. A Zero Energy Lifestyle subdivision. The developers will fund 80% of the total cost for the first Technology Demonstrator Display house including the lot/construction/escrow. There are 16 one acre plus horse properties which when sold out will have a total value of $16M to $20M. We want it built in time for USGBC GREENBUILD in mid Nov. 35,000 pros & official tour. First Zero Energy Lifestyle subdivision in the U.S.
2. A Zero Energy Commercial Retail MINI-MALL Imagine the media impact in the U.S. of a Zero Energy mall. People will hear about it and drive over there just to see it. Do you think other commercial developers and builders will be interested? The value of this project will be in a range of $4M to $12Mil.
3. A Zero Energy Lifestyle Community ! The first in the U.S.A. There will be multiple multi-family housing, multi-structures commercial, retail, services, restaurant (healthy food, healthy preparation) and entertainment, an Assisted Living "home" on the Ideas Institute model, and several single family residences. And the entire community will be Zero Energy Lifestyle oriented ! ! We'll be able to start selling reservations as soon as we get the project No.1 Zero Energy Lifestyle Technology Demonstrator display home funded and built. The value of this community will be on the order of $80M to $100M.

Added together that is a total package of $104M to $130Million Dollars !! An investor can get involved in this for $300K to fund that 20% portion of the Technology Demonstrator Display house. This is an incredible deal ! !

Now, there is also the fact that our economy is still going through the worst recession since the great depression of the 30's. So it is not too surprising that even though we have an excellent investment opportunity, there is a great deal of reluctance on the part of investors to jump into a real estate deal. We are fortunate to have the high degree of interest that we do have. Investors who are reluctant to engage with us at this time, still do see the potential for this Zero Energy Lifestyle alternative homes/vehicles technology to succeed. I am confident that as soon as the housing market shows signs of bottoming out, with stabilizing real estate values, we will get the investors we need to move these exciting projects forward !

In fact, when the economy shows signs of recovery, we may have several investors willing to engage with us at that time, as we are in continuing dialog through this challenging time !

Stand by for further developments, I'm sure some good news could break loose at any time !
